The Finished Products
The Newspaper Ad:
We had chosen this design as we feel it reflects the HS2 and the documentary in numerous ways. I also feel like the red colour works well with the background as it makes it more appealing to our audience and also more like a channel 4 Ad too. The Red colour can also be pointing towards danger, and could be a slight way of portraying mine and Dan's views on the HS2, Maybe.
The Double Page Spread
Now as you may have just seen the previous designs to the other double page spreads, this one is completely different. We decided we needed to go with something more professional and subtle to go along with the codes and conventions . As you can see we have used the similar pictures, and also it is pretty much the same text, But we have just made it less conspicuous. Overall i am really happy with this design and i hope it could maybe one day in a RadioTimes Magazine, because it looks exactly like it.
